Baritone Alexandru Chiriac expressed in an interview with the magazine "Prima Iubire Muzica" that he is willing to give a lot, even to the point of sacrifice, when performing on stage. He believes that every performance is like the first one in terms of emotional involvement, and he gives his all, thinking that it might be his last opportunity to do so.

Baritone Alexandru Chiriac has won several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the "M.O.A. International Opera Academy Competition" in Montecatini Terme, Italy, in 2019, along with three special awards, including the "Best Verdian Voice" award, and the first prize at the inaugural edition of the International Singing Competition "L’assoluta Virginia Zeani" in Târgu Mureș, 2017. He also won the first prize at the seventh edition of the "Vox Artis" Competition in Sibiu, in 2015, the first prize at the National Lied Interpretation Competition "Ionel Perlea" in Slobozia, in 2015, and the Grand Prize at the "Crizantema de Aur" Festival in Târgoviște, 2013. Music critics describe him as "a young hope, possessing one of the most beautiful and expressive voices," with the late Anca Florea praising him as "a generous voice, with remarkable natural qualities, well-directed and highlighted, demonstrating exceptional understanding and expressiveness, giving meaning and color to every word, every accent."His artistic activity has taken place on stages in Romania, Austria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Croatia, Spain, Greece, the USA, etc.. Since 2021, he has been a soloist at the Brasov Opera.

At the MUSICRIT Awards Gala of the Union of Critics, Editors, and Music Producers in Romania (UCRRM), held earlier this year in the Grand Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, baritone Alexandru Chiriac received the "Revelation of the Year 2023" award.
