RULES OF PARTICIPATION
Vocal Art Masterclass with soprano Nelly Miricioiu

Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre
Between May 22–24, 2025, the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre will host a Vocal Art Masterclass led by the renowned soprano Nelly Miricioiu. The event is open to all voice types.
The courses will take place at the Theatre, according to the following schedule:
May 22
10:30 – Welcome
11:00–14:00 / 15:00–17:00 – Masterclass sessions
May 23
11:00–14:00 / 15:00–17:00 – Masterclass sessions
18:00 – Dialogue with Nelly & Valentina: Life on Stage (public meeting, Q&A session)
May 24
11:00–14:00 – Masterclass session
16:00 – Rehearsal
18:00–19:00 – Final Concert – Piano recital on the theatre stage by selected participants
The masterclass is intended for students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate level) and vocal performers.
The age limit is 40 years for female voices and 45 years for male voices.
Both active and passive participants will be accepted. Details on these categories can be found in the registration form.
Applications are open between April 22 – May 20, 2025, by completing the registration form available on the institution’s website (www.tnob.md) and sending it via email to infotnob2@gmail.com.
The deadline for submitting the completed form is May 19, 2025.
The selection of active participants (maximum 10 persons) will be made by the organizers together with Ms. Nelly Miricioiu, based on the registration forms. Results will be communicated via email and/or phone on May 20 and 21, 2025. The final list of active participants will be published on www.tnob.md.
From the pool of active participants, 10 individuals will be selected to perform in the final concert – a piano recital on the stage of the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre, on May 24, 2025.
Access to the masterclass venue (Room 1 / stage – to be specified later) will be based on participant lists compiled by the organizers.
Active participants will receive Certificates of Participation issued by the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
